Meet Tara Flis
Founder & Owner, Senior Move Solutions
With a lifelong passion for helping others navigate change, Tara Flis founded Senior Move Solutions to bring clarity, comfort, and dignity to the moving process for seniors and their families.
Tara’s journey began in her hometown of Osseo, Minnesota, where her very first job in high school was at an Independent and Assisted Living community. It was there she discovered her deep compassion for seniors and witnessed firsthand the emotional and logistical challenges families face during life transitions. That early experience planted the seed for what would later become her life’s work.
After relocating to Arizona, Tara earned her degree from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She went on to build a successful 15-year career in finance and real estate, where she continually saw the need for more compassionate, hands-on support for seniors navigating major moves. Recognizing a gap between logistical coordination and emotional care, Tara decided to merge her professional expertise with her personal calling—and Senior Move Solutions was born.
Today, Tara leads a team dedicated to more than just packing and relocation. Her company provides personalized planning, emotional support, and customized move management designed to empower seniors and their families through every step of the transition. Known for her empathetic approach, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement, Tara has created comprehensive intake systems, feedback surveys, and personal interest questionnaires that ensure every move reflects each client’s unique needs and values.
